Changes to the User Interface

User Schedule

We’ve renamed Resource Schedule to User Schedule on the Job Administration screen.



Converting Serialized Inventory to Equipment

Now your company will have the option to convert Serialized Inventory items to Equipment on a job.  If you sell Inventory and then want to service it as Equipment


Conversion on Mobile App

After adding Serialized Inventory to a job, a user will have the option to convert that Serialized Inventory item to Equipment.  The Equipment will also be added to the current job and assigned to the same customer on that job.


View Conversions on Control Tower

After Serialized Inventory is converted to Equipment, a user will be able to see these Inventory Transactions in the Control Tower under Inventory Transactions Search.

View Hours on Job Admin Screen

We have made some minor updates to the Logged Hours and Onsite Hours pop-up windows on the User Schedule tab on Job Admin.


View Logged Hours

To view the Logged Hours for a User, select the Clock Icon.  From there, we can view, add, or edit a User’s Logged Hours.  Select Save in the pop-up window when done.


View On Site Hours

To view the On Site Hours for a User, select the Map Icon.  From there, we can view, add, or edit a User’s On Site Hours.  Select Save in the pop-up window when done.




Assign User Default Job Skills

Users can now be assigned a default job skill to indicate where they will show up on the scheduler.  It is important to remember a User can only have ONE job skill as its default.  To assign the default job skills to users:

  1. Select User Search on the Users tab along the top navigation

  2. Select a User’s record 

  3. Navigate to the Job Skills tab

  4. Double click in the Default column to select Yes or No

  5. Select Yes for only ONE Job Skill

  6. Select Save



Mobile Application

New Crew Functionality

This new functionality on the Mobile App will allow users, based on permissions, to:

  • View other users or crews on a job

  • Log hours for other users or crews on a job

  • Add other users to a job

New Refresh Button

We’ve moved the Sync Data off of the main screen on the Mobile App and replaced it with a Refresh Icon.  


Type Inventory Quantities 

Instead of using the + or - icons to indicate inventory quantity, a user can now free type the quantity and Submit.


Option to Automatically Complete Inventory Activities

When adding Inventory quantities on a job, a User can now Complete the Inventory Activity in the same step by selecting the Complete button if desired.  Select Submit if you do not wish to complete the Activity at that time.

Serialized Inventory Activities will still need to be Completed separately.



Search Jobs List

The Search Icon can be used to search your own jobs, another User’s jobs, or any unassigned jobs.  This icon is located on the top right corner of the Jobs screen on the Mobile App.  Search by a Job Number or Reference Number.

Bug Fixes 

Timestamps Fixed on Message Templates

Timestamps on all Message Templates have been changed to reflect the following format: MM/DD/YYYY  HH:MM:SS.
