This reference aid is designed for Super Users of the AgileField Control Tower to learn how to set up dashboards.  

Setting Up a Dashboard

Create a Dashboard Group

To set up a Dashboard, the first step is to set up a Dashboard Group.  

To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Admin tab in the Control Tower

  2. Select Dashboard Group.

  3. Select MAIN in the search results.

  4. Change or validate the Welcome Page drop down is Yes.

  5. Optional: To specify a Dashboard Group to a specific User Type, populate the User Type drop down as desired.

  6. Select Save.

Create a Dashboard Widget

Each Dashboard Widget will represent a set of data and have its own visual graph representation on the Welcome Screen.

To set up a widget, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Reporting tab in the Control Tower. 

  2. Select the Configuration tab.

  1. Populate all required fields:

    1. Code

    2. Description

    3. Group - Select the Dashboard Group to associate the Widget to

    4. Widget 

    5. Type - Select the Type of visual graph: Pie, Horizontal Bar, Vertical Bar, or Line

    6. Active - Active must be selected for the Widget to show on the dashboard

  2. Optional: Populate any optional fields:

    1. Inquiry - This will pull any Saved Inquiries from other Searches in the system.

    2. Sequence - This allows a user to set the sequence in which the widgets appear

    3. Range - This allows a user to select a date range: 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days

    4. Division -  Will limit the Widget visibility to the selected Division.

  3. Select Save.

  4. Repeat steps 1-5 above as desired.
