Create or Edit a Work Package



Create a New Work Package

Work Packages can be created by a Super User at any point in time.  The steps below will create the names of your Work Packages, but will not connect the Work Packages for use until you Set Up Work Packages.  


To add a new Work Package, follow the steps below:

  • Select the Admin panel along the top navigation
  • Select Work Packages
  • Input the following fields:
    • Code
    • Description
    • Estimated Hours: Input the length of time you expect this type of work to take.  This is how long the job will block for a User when it is scheduled.
    • Work Package Type: This should be set to 'STD'
    • Default: Set this to '1' if you want this to be your default Work Package.  Only one Work Package can be the default at a time.

  • Select Save




Edit a Work Package

Work Packages can be edited by a Super User at any point in time.  To make edits, follow the steps below:

  • Select the Admin panel along the top navigation
  • Select Work Packages
  • Select the Work Package you want to edit
  • Overwrite or change any of the following fields:
    • Code
    • Description
    • Estimated Hours
    • Default: Set this to '1' if you want this to be your default Work Package.  Only one Work Package can be the default at a time.

  • Select Save
